JWREMAPS
FAQ

Questions, answered.

Is remapping safe?

Yes. Every JWREMAPS file is developed and tested within OEM safety margins for injectors, turbo, clutch and gearbox — no shortcuts.

Will it improve my MPG?

Most drivers see a real-world improvement of 5–15% when driven the same way, thanks to better torque delivery lower down the rev range.

How long does the process take?

A typical Stage 1 remap takes 45–90 minutes. Diagnostics and pre-checks are included.

Can the map be returned to stock?

Yes — we always keep a copy of your original file and can restore it at any time, free of charge.

Does a remap affect my insurance?

You should inform your insurer of any modification. We provide a full remap certificate for your records.

Do you offer a mobile service?

Yes, we cover Newcastle upon Tyne and the wider North East — including Gateshead, Sunderland and Durham.

Is there a warranty?

We back every calibration with a workmanship warranty. Details are provided on booking.
